This year has been a period full of changes and transitions. We have expanded the Brothabrand without losing our Kingdom focus, which is to inspire, empower, and educate our readers to live the best life they can in Christ. I am so grateful for all that have read our previous issues of BrothaMagazine. I hope you, as a reader and partner for our growth, have enjoyed this journey.

In this issue we continue our focus on education with the article “Achievement Gap”. We also welcome Baton Rouge’s WXOK Program Director J’Michael Francois as the new music editor. Special thanks to those who granted us feature interviews for this issue: Ronald Godbee, James L. Walker, Jr., Craig McKenzie, John Thomas, and Dr. Celeste Owens. Each of these individuals will leave you inspired and encouraged.

To those of you who have sent emails, texts, instant messages, stopped me on the street, and have encouraged this ministry, I thank you. And I wish to thank those who made this issue possible; our editors, writers, copy team, assistants, and of course the team at Kelvin Chappell Designs. You have made this one exciting year!

As always, I hope this issue ministers, connects, inspires, and empowers you. God Bless and wishes to all for a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

In His Service,
Charles Clark
