Arise
by Williams McDowell
Light Records/E1
William McDowell is back with another smashing double disk worship project that will usher you into another dimension, and further solidify his pacing as one of Gospel’s music’s rising giants. On his Sophomore project entitled “ARISE” the presence of God is invoked and I promise you’ll fill like you where live in Fort Lauderdale, FL at Christian Life Center during the live concert which featured Martha Munizzi on the single “Overcomer” and Mary Alessi on the track “Standing”. With over 19 songs including a remake of his freshman single “I Give Myself Away” and his current single at radio “I Won’t go Back” William McDowell has craved a place in the hearts of many and that place is called “Worship”. One of the things I love about William is his pure approach to a song and how he can effortless usher you into the presence of the Lord, it only tells me one thing his worship is real and so is his ministry. I want to challenge you to check out these titles on CD Two: Waiting, All I Want is you, and Place of Worship.

Rehab
by LeCrae
Central South
There’s one artist that God as used to take Gospel Rap from the shadows of the industry to major platforms and I believe LeCrea is breaking down barriers that have for many years divided the kingdom’s support of Gospel music set to a different syncopation or rhythm. I’m simply amazed how smooth the lyrics flow over some of the hottest beats that I’ve ever heard by a gospel rap artist, that’s what you’ll find on LeCrea’s latest CD “Rehab: The Overdose”. This collection of songs reaches pass Sunday morning’s call and response and reaches the questions of Saturday night with tracks like “Anger Management”, “Chase That”, and Going In… LeCrae has a permanent spot in my Ipod, its relevant music with a message that brings the word to an everyday walk with the Lord.
