Luke 2:8-14

Many people today are scrambling to be successful. We are bombarded with ads, new ideas, and surefire ways to win in business/life. There's something in each one of us that yearns to be on the winning side, in the right place at the right time. In this passage of scripture, a group of shepherds were out in the field doing what they were supposed to be doing. This scripture shows us that they were responsible men - they were where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there.

They were in a place that they made a commitment to be. They didn't make excuses that night. Didn't call in sick, sleepy, or tired. They pressed through the challenges of the day to watch over their flock by night. Much is to be gleaned from their character. They were required to protect the sheep with their lives and they did that night in and night out.

On one particular night an angel of the Lord stood before them in glory and began to share the good news of Jesus' birth with them. In verses 11-12, the angels began giving the shepherds instruction about where the Savior/the Anointed One and His Anointing/Christ was residing. The Lord by His Holy Spirit knows how to get you to the place where His anointing resides for you. Take note: these shepherds were being good stewards in their current responsibility and the Lord sent angelic messengers to divinely direct them to SEE Jesus with their own eyes. The Father wants you to see His Son Jesus the living word manifest in your life. What a miraculous thing for the word to come to pass in your life! Stop running all over the place to find what the Holy Spirit will lead you to...

Be where you have committed to be and the Holy Spirit with angelic hosts will divinely direct you to the place of your miracle. See your promise from God manifest as you properly steward your current responsibility. Glory to God in the highest! I pray the peace of God upon you and I decree miracles in your life! The blessing is on you initiating miracles in your house and it is causing the creation to respond to you the way it responds to God.
