RGIII IN CLEVELAND MEANS DANGER FOR HIS CAREER by Mike Patton

Robert Griffin III was hoping to get another chance last year in Washington DC with the Redskins. He felt that he was healthy and ready to go, but he just never got the opportunity. The Redskins decided to start Kirk Cousins and they named him the starter for the season. That essentially spelled the end for Robert Griffin III in DC. Cousins never relinquished the job and Griffin III never was active all season long.

Christian Men and The Women We Choose: As Long as She is Sexy…by Romel Gibson

There are single Christian women around the country who are a tad bit confused.  Many of them desire to be married.  They have been taught that Christian men are looking for good, wholesome, Christian women to marry.  They have been taught to dress in modesty and wholeheartedly submit themselves to the Lord.  They have been taught that he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.  So, many of them have been preparing themselves to be wives.  They have somewhat been in hiding, faithfully serving the Lord, mentally preparing themselves to be able to submit to their future husbands, and waiting on “Boaz” to find them.  What’s wrong with that?  Why did I say they are confused?

The worst part about it was that before I said it, I thought about it, calculated its impact, and even then, I still said it. I cared more about winning than I did about her at that moment. Thinking about her running out of the room crying still makes my stomach sink.

The Portland Trailblazers starting five was gutted this offseason. They lost the battle for prized free agent LaMarcus Aldridge, who landed with the San Antonio Spurs. And along with the starting five being gutted, the Trailblazers lost veteran backup guards Steve Blake (traded to the Brooklyn Nets then ended up with the Detroit Pistons) and Aaron Afflalo (signed with the New York Knicks). All that was left in their starting lineup was point guard Damian Lillard.
